Submit a Strategy Guide
We built Total War Arena to share real tactics, campaign walkthroughs, and the history behind the battles. If you’ve got a working strategy for Rome II, a clever Attila economy setup, or a Three Kingdoms diplomacy path that actually holds, we want to run it. This page covers what we accept and how to send it in.
What We’re Looking For
Original content only. We don’t republish guides that are already up on Steam or a personal blog. Your submission should be something you wrote specifically for this site. The best pitches are concrete:
- Unit breakdowns – how a unit performs in specific matchups, not just its stat card.
- Campaign turn-by-turn plans – which provinces to take first, which techs to rush, and why.
- Historical context – a paragraph tying a battle or faction to real warfare (e.g., the Marian reforms and how they show up in Rome II).
- Patch-specific updates – if a recent balance change breaks an old meta, tell us the new one.
We also take short form pieces: 400–600 words on a single trick or formation. Long campaign guides can run 1500–2000 words if the detail is tight. No filler padding.
How to Submit
Send your draft as a plain text file or Google Doc link to [email protected]. Include a working title and one optional screenshot (original capture, no watermarks). We’ll review within a week and either accept with edits or tell you what needs changing.
Before you hit send, check these:
- No AI-generated text. We can tell, and we won’t run it.
- Cite your sources for historical claims – a quick footnote is fine.
- Write for players who already know the basics. Skip the tutorial-level explanations.
